Every sheet set here is made from 100% eucalyptus TENCEL, the brand name for lyocell: a fibre spun from the cellulose in sustainably sourced wood pulp. It feels smooth and cool to the touch, it breathes, and it moves moisture away from you instead of holding it against your skin. If you sleep warm, wake up damp, or simply want sheets that feel the same at 3am as they did when you got into bed, this is the fabric to start with.
Why eucalyptus TENCEL sheets sleep cooler
Most sheets feel warm because they trap the heat and moisture your body gives off overnight. TENCEL lyocell is 50% more absorbent than cotton, so it draws that moisture into the fibre and lets it evaporate, which keeps the surface you are lying on drier. The fibre is also naturally breathable, so air moves through the fabric rather than pooling under the covers. The result is a sheet that stays comfortable when the room is warm and does not feel cold and clammy when it is not.
The surface of the fibre is smooth rather than fuzzy, which is why TENCEL sheets have their soft, fluid drape. That smoothness also suits sensitive and acne-prone skin, because there is less friction against you through the night. Our guide What Is Tencel? The Complete Guide to Lyocell Fabric explains the fibre in more detail.
What is in each set
- Four pieces: a fitted sheet, a flat sheet and two pillowcases.
- Two sizes: Queen 4PC and King 4PC.
- 18-inch deep pockets with all-round elastic and secure corner straps, so the fitted sheet holds firmly on mattresses up to 20 inches deep.
- Envelope pillowcase closures that keep the pillow neatly tucked in.

Made responsibly, and certified
TENCEL lyocell is produced in a closed-loop process that recovers more than 99% of its solvent and reuses it. Our fabrics are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified (24.HIN.43068), which means they are tested for harmful substances, and they also carry ISO and Sedex certification. You can see the details on our certifications page.
Caring for TENCEL sheets
Heat is the one thing that shortens the life of lyocell. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low or line dry. Washed this way, the sheets keep their size and their smooth finish. Our guides on whether TENCEL shrinks when washed and how to keep TENCEL sheets from pilling go into more detail.
Complete the bed
Pair your sheets with a matching eucalyptus TENCEL duvet cover and a spare set of TENCEL pillowcases, or get the sheets and duvet cover together in a bedding bundle.
Frequently asked questions
Are TENCEL sheets good for hot sleepers?
Yes. TENCEL lyocell is breathable and 50% more absorbent than cotton, so it pulls moisture away from your skin and lets it evaporate instead of trapping heat. Read more in Best TENCEL Sheets for Hot Sleepers.
Are eucalyptus sheets and TENCEL sheets the same thing?
Eucalyptus sheets are usually sheets made from TENCEL lyocell, a fibre spun from eucalyptus wood pulp. Ours are 100% eucalyptus TENCEL lyocell.
Will the fitted sheet fit a deep mattress?
Yes. The fitted sheet has 18-inch pockets with elastic all the way round and corner straps, and fits mattresses up to 20 inches deep.
